DINA is an arts & events venue on Cambridge Street in the heart of Sheffield, UK. It is the former “Cutler” pub & “Stardust” nightclub and is being run by Deborah Egan & Malcolm Camp, until it is due for demolition as part of the Sheffield retail quarter redevelopment.

DINA Rooftop Garden is a companion project that was the idea of Deborah and Malcolm’s but has been taken on, in a voluntary capacity, by Richard Bolam (the brawn) and Fran Halsall (the brain). We will be creating and maintaining an insect-friendly and bird-friendly organic container garden, and when the building is demolished, the garden will be moved to a new location or distributed to other gardens.

The intention is to raise awareness of the destructive nature of pesticides and the loss of habitat for essential wildlife.
